Thanks to all who attended this event and for being so quiet!
And now let’s listen to the acoustic sounds of The Black Swans:
Summer in the city is unique. You see a lot of people. Some are friendly. Some are not.
On June 21st 2011, during the Make Music New York day’s festivities (www.makemusicny.org),
I was lucky enough to capture a stellar band playing their unique blend of post
punk, rock and pure noise. Oh, and a lot of classical horn. Their name is
Quilty and this is what they do.
For more information on Quilty visit www.myspace.com/kcquilty
Rock and Roll is its own thing. The more you stay away from it the more it comes back.
Like the cavemen in a cavern sometimes in this day and age you can capture
frescoes being painted on your wall. The wall this time decided to be Driggs
Ave. Right here in Brooklyn, NY. June 21st 2011 during the Make Music New York
day’s festivities (www.makemusicny.org) The Band’s
name is Clouder and this is their urgent sound.

If you weren’t at Driggs Ave. June 21st 2011 around 2:30pm you missed one of the best
bands in New York City. As part of the Make Music New York celebration held
once a year every June 21st (www.makemusicny.org) Serica Ux
delivered a very powerful show of force. If you need proof of this click on
their video and then look for their new releases.
For more information on the band, a free download and contact information visit www.sericaux.bandcamp.com
Serica Ux is a force to be reckoned with.
Can a Factory be a Warehouse? Yes, especially if you don’t know what’s in store and
upon entering this warehouse created by a factory filled with sunshine, love is
what you find. Beautiful music. Crystalline. Pure. Repetitive. Monotonous. That
is what The Sunshine Factory promises and delivers. I met the very talented
band and was privileged to record them live. In the beauty of their youth. In
the power of their sound. We were all inspired.

Time is a reflection of everything. Light through our own particular prism. Watch how
Dave W. and Ego Sensation of White Hills slow down time in this rare live
performance recorded June 24th 2011 at Permanent Records (www.permanentrecords.info)
.
On Tuesday June 21st 2011 I was very fortunate to meet Nick Demopoulos. He is
an amazing guitarist, composer and inventor. He was part of the Make Music New
York.
Make Music New York is a free musical celebration that happens all around New York City on June 21st, the longest day
of the year. For more information go to: www.makemusicny.org
