Greco’s Mushroom and Steak

Hello everyone. Today I will offer my recipe for preparing Mushroom and Steak. You will need to pour some Olive Oil on a skillet and gently fry pieces of pepper steak or cube round steak and mushrooms. You can get both organic. You need to place the meat first on the skillet as it takes more time to cook and once the redness starts to dissipate place the mushrooms which can be cut in half should you have bought whole mushrooms. You will see that the mushrooms get much smaller as the meat turns a dark brown. Don’t look at the cooking process too much for if you do the ingredients won’t cook (at least that’s what they say). After the meat and mushrooms have cooked place some spinach on it and remember to add olive oil at anytime during the cooking process should you feel that oil is lacking. The spinach will slowly become much smaller and when it does pour in your favorite steak sauce of which there are many. Wait for the sauce to pop or boil. To use as a side you can cook some rice, potatoes or carrots. Your main course is meat and even bread and butter will suit nicely as accompaniment. Invite some friends over and make sure someone brings something to drink. When all is served enjoy look out the window and put on some music.

Listen to it while you drink your coffee in the morning waiting for the sunrise or while drinking water as the sun sets expecting that phone call and like music that The Orb usually does it will take you on a trip that can last for centuries.

The Bass Guitar is one of the greatest instruments ever created. You’ve heard Tom “T-Bone” Wolk play it on vinyl, CD’s or Mp3′s on legendary recordings by Hall and Oates, Squeeze, Guy Davis or Elvis Costello. If you were lucky you remember him playing live on TV with the groove the so may musicians seek and only some find. Tom passed away on February 28th 2010 and the world is a much less groovier place without him.

Rest in Peace brother.

On June 17th 2011 while setting up for the show by The Black Swans our unique New York City weather of heat, humidity, thunder and rain produced one of the prettiest sites known to mankind: a rainbow with a dark sky as it’s backdrop. I immediately remembered Ronnie James Dio who recently passed away (7.10.1942 – 5.16.2010) and his great song “Rainbow in the dark”. I hope he is taking care of us from heaven. Enjoy.

I imagine this band onstage when I listen to this album. Their name is The Paranoids and they’re from San Francisco. It’s rock and roll. The kind that grew up on a lot of blues and later became Glam Rock. I think the right word for this kind of music is “cool”. Like ice in your lemonade or 70 degrees on your AC during the New York City summer.
