The Bass Guitar is one of the greatest instruments ever created. You’ve heard Tom “T-Bone” Wolk play it on vinyl, CD’s or Mp3′s on legendary recordings by Hall and Oates, Squeeze, Guy Davis or Elvis Costello. If you were lucky you remember him playing live on TV with the groove the so may musicians seek and only some find. Tom passed away on February 28th 2010 and the world is a much less groovier place without him.

Rest in Peace brother.

We were shocked and later saddened when we heard the news of Amy Winehouse’s death. We send a message of condolences and understanding to her parents and close family. She will be missed.

Tenor Saxophone player Clarence Clemons died June 18th 2011 of complications from stroke. Best known as E Street Band member and Bruce Springsteen’s kissing partner, feat they performed at the end of all their shows during the 1980′s, Clarence was born January 11th 1942.

We wanted to take time to send our condolences to his family, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. He will be missed but we can rest assured that Clarence Clemons has just learned to fly.
