Category Archives: Interview

It is late Friday night. The closest city in sight is New York and in Brooklyn there seems to be a lot music going on. There are friends to be seen and women to encounter. I took a chance and seem to have been sidetracked to the wrong show, so I was unable to record the Dangerous Boys Club. They have an incredible live show, search for them and when in town see them. Fortunately I was able to interview their singer Erin Montaigne and this is what he spoke.

Today June 19th 2011, after performing solo, which for musician, composer and teacher Todd Reynolds means playing the violin live while controlling sequences, effects and having his right foot on the bass pedal of his bass drum, I was able to rapidly interview him.

I am very grateful for the time he gave me and thankful to the people in charge of production at The Bang on a Can Marathon who assisted me in making this interview possible.
