There is music that grows on you. You hear it once, twice even. Recognize it, put it away. Then you take that walk and before you know it you hear the melody in your head and suddenly feelings arise. Some dormant, some new and then you try to figure out what the lyricist said or what he meant. This is what happens when you listen to Genesis’ first album “From Genesis to Revelation”. This is the album that started it all. The progress, the musicianship and the wonderful stories told in the dark. Released March 1969 I highly recommend it.
